How To Transition Your Makeup From A Day To Night Look
Easy Day To Night Makeup Look
One of my most frequently asked questions as a professional makeup artist is… how can I transition my day look into a night look. Well, today I am going to share a few tips with you AND walk you through an easy step-by-step tutorial on how you can do it too!
If you are like me, when I am at work I normally opt for the super simple natural makeup look. One, it requires less effort in the morning as I am rushing to get tow kids dressed and fed before getting them to school. But more importantly, it is a look that I am the most comfortable wearing. Now, there is nothing wrong with natural makeup. As a matter of fact, natural makeup and tutorials are the most requested form, my clients and followers. Here are a few things to remember before grabbing your makeup brushes:
1. You don’t have to remove all of your makeup
2. You can easily go from a natural look to the perfect smokey eye in minutes
3. You don’t need a ton a products
Now that we have that out of the way, this look is a very dramatic makeup look. If you prefer natural makeup, then go for it! Keep in mind, you don’t have to create an all-over smokey eye if that is not your thing. You can always create a simple smokey-eye as well. Another thing that is perfect for transitioning your makeup look is simply adding some false lashes. This is great if you don’t wear lashes to work. In the video, I already had on false lashes so it made it SUPER easy to switch it up. This look is great if you are looking for a great Valentine’s Day Makeup look! All you would need to add is a bold red or pink lipstick.
I want to know, what do you think of this makeup look?
