First Watch Cafe Is Perfect for Brunch With Your Spouse
First Watch The Daytime Cafe
I can’t tell you how many times I have passed the First Watch Cafe in Clermont. Maybe too many times to count. First Watch Cafe is new to the Clermont area and recently opened their doors to the community in 2018. Last week my husband and I skipped breakfast because we wanted to visit First Watch. We woke up got the kids ready and off to school and made last minute plans to go have brunch at First Watch.
See, we never really have a lot of time to spend alone trying to places. Mainly because we are here in Florida with no family close by. We have to strategically plan our little get-a-ways or even things as simple as brunch. We both have very busy schedules. This year we are trying to focus more on us and our relationship by experiencing new things together. What better way than brunch? I almost wanted to coin the hashtag #brunchinwiththebrowns but I refrained.
About First Watch The Daytime Cafe
Everything is made to order. They do not use heat lamps or deep fryers. They also have complimentary newspapers and WiFi internet access if you need to get some work done on the go. In 2018 First Watch The Daytime Cafe won the 2018 Best Places to Work by Business Intelligence Group.
The First Watch Menu
To be 100% honest, there were some things on the menu I had to look up because I had no idea what it was. Being that this was our first time visiting the restaurant and location we opted for more familiar items. I ordered the Belgian Waffle-light and airy with a side of berry compote. I also order a side of cage-free egg whites. My husband ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and the Banana Granola Crunch Pancake. Oh, and the coffee was amazing!
Overall, we had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and it wasn’t too busy. We will definitely go back for another brunch date in the future. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, I highly recommend that you do. Especially if you enjoy finding new places to eat.
