Finger Coil Hairstyle

Warning: If you have a lot of hair, make sure to pack your patience when attempting this finger coil hairstyle.  Let me just tell you that having long hair doesn’t make this process easy at all!  Before we get into the details of this hairstyle I want you to make sure you have the proper styling products. When I created this style, I used the Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils Don’t Shrink Elongating Flaxseed Curling Gel.

I wanted a styling product that would be able to hold the style for more than one day. Let’s be honest, the amount of time it takes to create this style need to equal how long you can actually wear the style.

Be Patient.

Remember, there are other products you can use to achieve this style. If you do not have this product, that is ok. Use what works best for YOUR hair. That could be a mousse, a gel, or a cream. If you are in a time sensitive situation, you can always blow dry your finger coils on low heat or cool setting.

If you have been wanting to give the finger coil hairstyle a try, be sure you have enough time to create the style. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, pack your patience. This finger coil hairstyle takes time. There is a reason it is called “finger coils”. Basically, you are using your finger to create a coil or in other words a curl. Depending on how many you want, will determine the amount of time it will take to complete the style. For me, I was surprised at how quickly I was able to complete my finger coil hairstyle. I was more impressed with how well this product performed on my hair.
