Catch us at NEW YORK FASHION WEEK 2017!

When you get a text at 7:30 a.m. you know it has to be something very important. My sister De’Ana, text me and said…we are going to New York Fashion Week so call me when you get some free time.

Say WHAT?!…

Now, it was funny because just a few weeks prior to her message, I mentioned wanting to go to NYFW. We both figured it was probably to late to go, and besides, it has always been on our bucket list but we never just made it official…until now.

In that very moment of receiving her message, I was scared to death, but I was ALL IN!

We have talked about going for years. At first, I wanted to just go and experience it, then I wanted to go as a makeup artist, and now I just want to go to say that I have done it. The best part about it, is that I will be with my sister. The one that pushes me to my limits, encourages me, and get on my ass if I am completely out of line. She has skills that I can only wish to one day have.  I have traits that help her as well. We are a TEAM, a team no matter the Good, Bad, or Ugly.

It was such a whirlwind not knowing what we were getting into, but it could not have worked out any better for us. We were able to get airline tickets, a great hotel, book pictures with one of or favorite photographers, and plan a few shows and tours for our trip.
