Now that I am back working full-time, my schedule has been super crazy! I have to make sure that I have things planned out and in order to ensure that everything gets done. As most of you know back to school is here and it is time to get everything together to get the little ones off to a great start this year. One thing that I don’t want to spend a lot of time on is getting my little one’s hair together. With two little ones in my home, there is never a dull moment. Both of my kids have become so independent and love to do things on their own. Keep in mind that they are only 8 and 5 and they amaze me every day. Recently, we made a trip to our local Walmart store to gather off of their supplies and items for back to school. While shopping the personal care aisle, we noticed NEW products from JOHNSON’S®.  Yep. JOHNSON’S® hair care for kids has 4 product lines that are specially designed for kids unique hair types. Honestly, I don’t know who was more excited, me or the kids.

In today’s post, I will be sharing with you how JOHNSON’S® Kids Hair Care makes getting bathed and out the door easier and gives my son and daughter a special product (just for them) to get excited over! Now, before we get into all the details, I want to share with you a few reasons why I decided on these products for my kids. When it comes to personal care products for my kids, I always want to ensure that I am purchasing products that are free of sulfates and dyes. This should always be something that you take seriously when purchasing a product for your kids. I also love the fact that this product by Johnson’s is designed for my kid’s unique hair type. But most importantly it is gentle enough for my kids developing hair and it is strong enough for the performance for each of my little one’s needs.

For my son, I purchased the  JOHNSON’S® Clean and Fresh Shampoo & Body Wash and the JOHNSON’S® Clean and Fresh Conditioning Spray. After giving the products a good trial run, off the bat I loved the way the products smelled. The Clean & Fresh products are designed with FreshBoost™ fragrance for all-day freshness. I also noticed that it keeps his hair clean and fresh ALL DAY! If you have a little boy, you know how important this can be. My son absolutely loved the fact that there was a product that he could use all by himself. It allows him to feel independent and learn how to do things that help in his personal hygiene. Talk about a time saver for getting out the door on time! Now, when it comes to my daughter, she has a lot of hair. One thing I pride myself on is using products that will help in her hair growth journey. Yeah, I know, she is only 5 but it is so important to start caring for her hair now the right way. Most importantly using products that are gentle on her hair.

Did you know that when it comes to your kid’s hair it is developing and changing?

Between all the extra-curricular actives, I need products that will help with my active little ones. Although you may be tempted to use adult shampoos, keep in mind that they can be harsh on your kid’s hair. That means more work on your end when it comes to styling. As you know having to do hair for two little ones can be very time-consuming. So you want to make sure that you are using products that will make your job easier as you teach them the important benefits of self-care and hygiene. With that being said for my daughter, I purchased the JOHNSON’S® Curl Defining Shampoo and the JOHNSON’S® Curl Defining Leave-in Conditioner. I am sure you know that all hair is not created equal! Between my son and daughter, their hair textures are completely different. Therefore, I need to be aware of the products that I use for them individually. What I mean is that I can’t always use the same hair care products on my daughter that I use for my son. To be honest, I am so glad that JOHNSON’S® has products that are specific to their individual hair care needs. Check out the images below to see the before and after process and hairstyle for my daughter’s hair. I’m telling you, you need to have these products in your stash if you are looking to save time and take care of your kid’s hair.

When it comes to kids hair care, you may have noticed that it has not been a part of most haircare brands. If you think about it, most products offer 2-1 benefits but don’t address the needs of kids developing hair. As kids grow their hair isn’t as easy to manage as when they were babies – they need hair care products that address their changing hair needs (detangling, styling, frizz, hydration, etc). JOHNSON’S® new line is not only gentle for kids hair, but it offers the performance and ingredients their hair needs. Another thing I love about this new JOHNSON’S® kids hair care line is that it helps parents like me understand that my children’s hair is developing and that the NEW JOHNSON’S® Kids hair care line is uniquely formulated like no other for my children’s special haircare needs.
