Recently I had the opportunity to check out the summer soccer program with IdeaSports. This program is in partnership with Walt Disney World. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect. All school year C would come home telling me that he wanted to play soccer. Most of his classmates have been playing since they were little.

We were invited to come to a visit and experience the IdeaSports Summer Soccer Academy and let me say we were not disappointed. At first, I was completely lost and not prepared. I should have brought my folding chair and extra water. Despite my lack of preparation, water and seating were available.

This was my first time ever visiting the World of Sports location in Orlando. The kids were mesmerized at how big the location was. I was more impressed with all the different types of sports that are actually played at this location.

Once we arrive at the check-in desk, we were assigned a coach and a field number. There were some kids attending that had been a part of the program and were very familiar with the process. Having the opportunity to attend this camp was so exciting for C. At first we were a little nervous because all of this was new to him. To be honest, I was more nervous than him because I had absolutely no clue what to expect.

Once we had all of the necessary information, we made our way down to the fields. Yall, this place is massive! After following the crowd, we located the field and asked around to find C’s coach. Once he was all settled in with his team M and I took a private tour of the facility.
