4 Fun Activities To Get Your Kids Involved For Earth Day
I was gifted the Goody Ouchless Scrunchies and Pocket Garden from Goody Hair. All opinions are my own.
The first Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970.
According to Wikipedia, Earth Day is an annual event that is celebrated on April 22nd every year. This event occurs worldwide in more than 193 countries. Various events are held all over the world to help demonstrate support for environmental protection.
Goody Hair gifted me this cute Pocket Garden which included flower seeds to plant. My kids and I are going to help give back by planting some new flowers to add to our growing flower garden. I love finding new ways to spend time with my kids and teaching them how to do new things.
Plant these paper shapes!
I have never seen anything like this before and I can’t wait to plant them with my kids and watch them grow. The paper shapes are embedded with annual and perennial wildflower seeds. Simply soak in water overnight, plant under a thin layer of soil, and keep evenly moist until seedlings are well established. Germination time is 1-3 weeks.
4 Kid-Friendly Earth Day Activities:

- Pick Up Trash Around Your School or Neighborhood
- Feed The Birds-Make Your Own Bird Feeders
- Teach Them The Importance Of Recycling
Earth Day is not just one day. It is every day that we should be making strides to protect the planet we love. It all starts with being aware that there is an issue but more importantly taking the necessary steps to do our part.
Goody Hair also gifted me scrunchies! I received a pack of their classic Goody Ouchless Scrunchies. From rainbow brights that are great to spice up any outfit to their new rustic heathered blends. These skinny sized scrunchies are great to add to your hair accessory stash. Which means they are perfect for stacking, mixing, and matching!
These scrunchies are available now exclusively at Walgreens
