Shade of Pink
Most people shy away from wearing “colors” to work. Mainly, because if not applied correctly it will not look professional and put together. I received a request to create a look that had hues of pink that could be worn in the work place and this is the look that I came up with. The lipstick is bold but you can always tone the look down by adding a lighter shade pink lipstick.
Everyone’s Makeup Style is Different and Unique
Just because it works for me, doesn’t always mean it will work for you. Just because it works for you doesn’t mean it will work for me. I know I have watched hundreds of YouTube tutorials on makeup application, and I have experimented trying to re-create looks that I have seen. Most of the time, it doesn’t come out the way it looked on the person I was watching. So, with that being said, I have learned to have a few different tips to help me find my best shade of color: shades of the color I want to use to re-create a look nearby, to help me find my own beauty style.
Here are a few things to consider:
Find YOUR perfect shade of “pink” (or any other color) by testing the color first.
Apply different shades of “pink” to find the perfect one for your skin tone
Wear the color that makes you feel confident and authentic.
If you are not a fan of “bold” colors then try finding a shade that is a few tones lighter.
Never sacrifice your confidence to keep up with a trend.
