Fun Colorful Makeup For Pride Month

Pride Month is HERE! I was excited to get in the studio to create some fun pride makeup looks. This look would be a great look to create if you are heading out to the local Pride parades and other fun events!

My goal is to do a least two more different pride makeup looks to give you a little inspiration. One thing is for sure it’s not good enough for Pride if it isn’t COLORFUL and FUN!

Now, to be totally transparent, I haven’t created a look like this in quite some time. Meaning, in many, many years! These types of makeup look used to be my favorite ones to create. I stopped because the way my eyelids are set up all looks just don’t look right on me. I have that little problem of having “hooded eyes”.

It can be extremely challenging when using bold colors to get it to blend perfectly. So this look wasn’t as bold as I wanted to be due to the excessing blending that had to happen. Also, I could have used a white base to help brighten up the look. Better luck next time!

I recorded a step-by-step tutorial showing you how I achieved this look.  After I recorded this look I had to continue blending to get the look I was going for. I also did not have a “true red” eyeshadow, so I had to use what was in my stash.  Now, I want you to put your own twist on this look and get creative. Use what you have in your makeup stash and create something amazing! Whatever you do don’t get discouraged! Practice makes perfect and I know it will turn out beautifully!
