Natural Hair: Blow Out For Little Girls Using Revlon Dryer Brush
I finally broke down and gave into my little girl’s wishes.
For a while, she had been asking me to give her “long hair”. I know, I know. Although her hair IS long, she has only noticed it on wash day. She has always wanted me to straighten her hair so that it could be like mine.
She also sees the little girls at school with their big bows and “long hair” and naturally she wants that too. I had to explain to her that her friend’s hair is beautiful but hers is unique and beautiful. You see, I want her to be confident with her hair texture and curls. Recently I shared with her that although her friend’s hair is long, her friends will have a hard time wearing their hair like hers.
With all that being said, I decided to give the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Dryer Brush a try on her hair. I never had the intention of using a flat iron or any other heat on her hair. During this tutorial, I switched between low-heat and the cool setting on the dryer. I also used a heat protectant because I want to protect her natural curl pattern. Now, I don’t think I will let her wear her hair this way to school but, since we have been at home, it was the perfect time to try it out.
As always we recorded the process so you can see from beginning to end Natural Hair: Hairstyle For Girls Using Revlon One-Step Blow Dryer Brush
She was definitely feeling herself once she saw how long her hair really is. Her beautiful smile just brightens my day. Now for the next wash day, I made sure to deep condition her hair and afterward I styled it in a braided protective style to help her curls to bounce back.
How do you feel about giving your little girl’s hair a blow out?
