Type A Parenting Conference 2019

There will come times in your life where you don’t feel like you are worthy enough. That is until you step out on faith and take a chance. That is exactly what I did a few months ago. As most of you may know I have had the pleasure of speaking at local events as well as large conferences such as ALT Summit.

Over the years I have heard a lot of great things about the Type A Parent Conference. Last year a friend of mine had the opportunity to speak at this conference. I remember telling myself that I would love to speak at this conference, but it’s focused on parenting and that isn’t really my niche. So, I decided not to apply. Fast forward to last year (2018) I had finally built up the confidence to speak at several other events and I also built up the courage to apply to speak at this years Type A Parenting Annual Conference.

To be completely honest…

I did not think they would select me. (you see how easy it is to talk ourselves out of the things we are meant to do) Yep. That was me. Until I received an email telling me “Congratulations”. Say what?! They selected me to speak on the topic of From Brand Ambassador To Paid Influencer-How To Elevate Your Online Presence Seriously, I couldn’t have been more excited to have been selected to speak on a topic that I am truly passionate about.

But, there’s more…

You know I am a huge fan of community and wanting other women to succeed right? Well, I remember telling my friend about it and that I jumped off the ledge and applied to be a speaker. I also encouraged her to do the same. She was in the same boat, not really thinking that she would get selected. But guess what…she did!

She will also be speaking at the conference this year and we are both so excited. I wanted to share this post with you not only to inform you of this amazing conference but to encourage you. If you have been wanting to take a chance and do something you have always wanted to do. Do it. Do not wait.

You have what it takes. The difference between the ones who succeed and the ones who fail is the fact that they took a chance. Will it be scary? Maybe. How would you know if you never take the chance?
