Style: Goodbye Corporate America
Style: Corporate + Casual
As of this past Monday, I am officially no longer employed in Corporate America.
I can’t believe just a few weeks ago I had to ask Google how to write a resignation letter. Yep, I has been years since I had to resign or quit a job. It’s kinda funny because I have always wanted to work for myself full time without the “support” of another job, but the truth is I LOVE being a pharmaceutical sales representative. I am really going to miss all of my customers and friends that I have made over the past 7 years in the New Orleans territory.
I know deep in my soul that God has something bigger and better planned for me. Being a seriously independent person, it makes me uncomfortable not having control. I really believe that he is opening a door for me to be a makeup artist, blogger, and content creator full time. Maybe he is allowing me to just have a break from all of my responsibilities so that I can refocus and really get ready for what is to come.
I have been behind in releasing my Podcast episodes, but I will be back to it very soon. I am still going to apply for other open positions in the Orlando market, but I know its going to take time. To be able to share my experiences as I go along is really exciting. My goal is to help inspire others as I go through my own interview process. Best believe there will be rejections, but I know my skill level and experience will land me right where I need to be.
So, although this goodbye to Corporate America is just temporary, I am looking forward to my journey.
Here’s to new beginnings!
