I am so excited that the temps are now a little cooler in Louisiana. When the temp drops I am running to grab my fall essentials, although the cooler temps may only last for just a few days I try to take full advantage of it. Today, I am going to be sharing my 3 must have pieces for fall. I was out the door early this morning with my Starbucks in hand, this mamma had a few errands to run, I decided to stop and take a couple of pictures of my outfit. Now, normally this is not my outfit of choice but I thought it was super cute and fit the trend this season. Honestly, I love the way the colors, and patterns compliment each other.

Fall Must Have #1: Striped Knit Top

Stripes! Yes, a striped knit top is a must-have this fall. I was never a huge fan of stripes only because I felt like stripes didn’t compliment my body. This year my tastes have change and I love the striped knit top so much that I purchased not just one but 3! I know, maybe a little to impulsive, but a mamma loves to have options. I found my striped knit top at Forever 21 at a very reasonable price. The best part about them, they are easy to mix and match.

Fall Must Have #2: Olive Green Hooded Anorak Vest

I was too pumped when I scored this olive green anorak vest from Rue 21, I was actually looking for an olive green jacket and I couldn’t find one. I am actually still on the hunt for one. This vest was the last one in my size, y’all I was so excited! What I love about this vest is that it has a hood attached to the back and it has the large utility styled pockets. This vest is definitely a fall must have, so go getcha one!

Fall Must Have #3: Taupe Booties

remember like it was yesterday when I brought these beauties home! They are hands down one of my favorite pairs of booties to wear year round! I purchased these booties at Target, since I purchased them last year you won’t be able to find them in the store. Don’t worry these are some super cute suede ankle booties that are similar.
